The Adaptation Fund Board has approved Grant Proposal for Technical Assistance of the Environmental Project Implementation Unit, Armenia on the amount of US$ 19,500. The grant will help to strengthen the capacity of the Environmental Project Implementation Unit to assess and manage environmental, social and gender-related issues and to comply with the Adaptation Fund environmental and social policy (ESP) and the gender policy (GP). As a result, experts of EPIU will have improved their knowledge and skills, that will let them to properly address environmental, social and gender risks in both elaboration and implementation stages of the projects, thus contributing to the success of the projects’ approval as with the Adaptation Fund as well as with other international partners.
