On September 28 of this year, a seminar on the presentation of the seventh National Report on the UN Convention to Combat Desertification was hosted at Erebuni Plaza Business Center. The seminar was attended by the representatives of the Ministries of Nature Protection, Agriculture, Emergency Situations, Health, Transport, Communications and Information Technologies, Energy Infrastructure and Natural Resources of the Republic of Armenia, international organizations, universities, and NGOs. Welcoming speeches were made by the Director of the “Environmental Project Implementation Unit” State Institution Meruzhan Galstyan, Deputy Head of Bioresources Management Agency Ashot Vardevanyan and Director of “Geomapis” LLC Manana Tarposhyan. Geomapis expert Artak Piloyan presented the 7th National Report on the UN Convention to Combat Desertification in Armenia. PRAIS 3 platform for submission of the report was introduced by Ditsuhi Iskandaryan. Seminar participants mentioned about the extensive and thorough work performed by “Geomapis” LLC experts in a short period of time.
