On March 18, 2022 a visiting session of the Steering Committee of the “Strengthening land based adaptation capacity in communities adjacent to protected areas in Armenia” project of the “Environmental project Implementation unit” State Agency was held in the rural municipalities of the Urtsadzor administratives disrtict of Ararat region’s Vedi enlarged community.
The session was attended by Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Environment Anna Mazmanyan, the Director of the EPIU Armen Yesoyan, the members of the Steering Committee R. Alikhanyan, T. Gidachyan, S. Gharibyan, N. Chushchyan, H. Terteryan, Governor of Ararat region Sedrak Tevonyan, Head of Dilijan enlarged community Davit Sargsyan, acting Head of Vedi enlarged community Garik Sargsyan, Deputy Head of Pambak enlarged community Samvel Ananyan, the Director of the “Green Lane” NGO Nune Sarukhanyan, the EPIU staff members, as well as other invited persons. Board member A. Marabyan joined the session via video link.
During the session, the Project, the amended Annual procurement plan for 2021, the amended Work schedule for 2021 and the Annual report on the work performed by the State Agency from October 2020 to November 2021 inclusive, as well as the draft decision of the Procurement plan for 2022 were presented.
