On July 2nd a working meeting was held at EPIU SA in the frames of UNDP/GCF “De-risking and scaling-up investment in energy efficiency building retrofits” project. The meeting was attended by the representatives of UNDP Yerevan office, Director of EPIU Mr.Galstyan, Deputy Director Mr.St. Baloyan, Heads of Departments, specialists. Ilia Sazdovsky, international expert, presented his report on “Monitoring, Reporting and Verification” System (MRV). The objective of the aforementioned program is to facilitate the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions in residential and public buildings sector with the active involvement of local self-government and private sector with the combination of legislative, organizational, grant and credit resources.An interesting discussion was held during which the participants of the meeting were able to direct their questions to the expert.
