The first meeting of the “Forest resilienece of Armenia, enhancing adaptation and rural green growth via mitigation” grant project’s Steering Committee

On June 7, 2022, the first meeting of the Steering Committee of the “Forest resilienece of Armenia, enhancing adaptation and rural green growth via mitigation” grant project was held under the chairmanship of Deputy Minister of the Environment of the Republic of Armenia Aram Meimaryan in the “Environmental project Implementation unit” State Agency.

The meeting was attended by Acting Director of the EPIU Armen Yesoyan, Acting Deputy Director Armen Khojoyan, Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations Representative in Armenia Raimund Jehle,  Head of the Office of the Austrian Development Agency in Armenia Klaus Kapper, Director of World Wide Fund for Nature Armenian branch Karen Manvelyan, temporarily nominated representative of the Autonomous State of Bolzano in Italy Gresa Bekiraj, Head of Department of Local Self – Government Policy Ashot Giloyan, Chief Specialist of the Department of Public Investment Policy of the Ministry of Economy Astghik Saghatelyan, Deputy Governor/Marzpet of Lori Region/Marz Gor Asryan, Chief Specialist of the Financial Programming Department of Capital Expenditures, Investment, Credit and Grant Programs of the Budget Process Organization Department of the Ministry of Finance Svetlana Sukiasyan, project team members and employees of the EPIU. Chairman of the Forestry Committee Vladimir Kirakosyan also took part in the meeting as an observer.

During the meeting, the project was presented, the Project Steering Committee approved the regulations of the PSC, the Procurement plan for 2022 and the Work Schedule of 2022.
