A training course on improvement of SNCO staff qualification managing SPNAs envisaged under “Improvement of Specially Protected Nature Areas (SPNA) management system of the Republic of Armenia through strengthening the international cooperation and capacity building of SPNA managing staff” project funded by the British Embassy in Armenia was organized by the “Environmental Project Implementation Unit” State Institution for the staff of “Dilijan” National Park On November 14, 2018, at visitor center of “Lake Arpi” National Park. The training was attended by the coordinator of Dilijan Aarhus Center, President of “Ecopolis” NGO, Head of Tumo-Dilijan Center, principals and teachers of high and secondary schools of the town of Dilijan and adjacent communities. Presentations were made by the Deputy Director of the “Environmental Project Implementation Unit” State Institution Samvel Baloyan, Head of eco-educational project unit Rubik Shahazizyan, Head of donor supported project unit Edik Voskanyan and chief specialist of eco-educational project unit Gevorg Mirzoyan. Participants received certificates at the completion of the training.
